FAQ
1.Is there a requirement for the installation direction of a manual ball valve?
No. This manual Tri Clamp ball valve has no fixed flow direction and can generally be installed and used in either direction.
2.Can this be used for drinking water?
NO. Our valves are industrial-grade and not certified for potable water, so they cannot be used for drinking water systems.
3.Does a manual ball valve need regular maintenance?
Yes. Regularly check for damage or leakage and turn the handle to ensure flexible operation.
4.What is the difference between Tube OD and Tri Clamp size?
Tube OD refers to the outside diameter of the sanitary tube. Tri Clamp size refers to the compatible clamp connection size. These two dimensions may be the same or different depending on the selected model. Please verify both sizes before ordering.
5.Is this valve designed for flow regulation?
This is an on/off ball valve designed for fully open or fully closed operation. It is not recommended for continuous throttling or precise flow control.
6.How do I install the valve?
Place the appropriate sanitary gasket between the aligned ferrules, attach the Tri Clamp, and hand-tighten the clamp securely. Do not overtighten.
