The six wire 4-20mA motorized ball valve is our larger modulating control model for continuous flow regulation. It adjusts the valve opening in proportion to a standard 4-20mA control signal (4mA fully closed, 20mA fully open) and sends a 4-20mA feedback signal of the actual valve position back to your PLC, DDC or building automation system. Besides the power, signal input, feedback and common wires, the sixth wire is a fault output that alerts the control system if the actuator stalls, so a jammed valve never goes unnoticed. With a higher-torque DC 12-24V actuator and a manual override for setup or emergencies, it is well suited to HVAC, water treatment and industrial process control. This 6 wire modulating valve comes in 1-1/4" to 2" sizes, in brass, stainless steel and UPVC.
