Does the dispenser use silicone in the mechanism? Specifically the blades or any part that contacts the tape?

There are 2 wheels made of silicone but the wheels will not contact the tapes.

Q:
What is the reason for using tweezers to remove the tape? Is that due to contamination concern? My application is not affected by finger contact with the adhesive on tape.

The company I work for bought a JF-7000 auto tape dispenser. I just finished setting it up. It looks like it will work great! One of the machine operators asked if it had the same programmable functions as the JF-9000. Is it possible to exchange the machine we just bought for the JF-9000? Also, can you e-mail me a manual for the JF-9000 so I can see how it compares to the JF-7000?
