INTRODUCTION

The U.S. Solid 3 - way 2 - Position Pneumatic Electric Solenoid Valve routes air to pneumatic devices. It interfaces between electronics and pneumatic systems, controlling position, flow, pressure, and temperature. This 3/2 valve has three ports and two flow states. In the off state, one seal is open, the other closed; when energized, it reverses. Air can flow from port 1 to 2 or port 2 exhausts via port 3. Made of aluminum alloy.Pneumatic valves are used widely. Aircrafts use them for windshield anti - icing and rain removal. Food and beverage makers use them in production.U.S. Solid valves are reliable, low - power, long - lasting, and easy to install, maintain, and control with prewired connections.

Valve Attributes

Ingress - Protection Rating:

The valves have an ingress - protection rating of IP65. The first digit 6 indicates complete dust - tightness. The second digit 5 means protection against water jets from any direction. They are suitable for a variety of complex environments, effectively resisting the intrusion of dust and water to ensure reliable operation.

FAQ

1. What is the Waterproof Rating of this valve?

The motor's housing is rated at IP65 for ingress protection. If permanently installed outdoors, it is recommended to place it under a shelter or in a protective box to prevent prolonged exposure to rain.

2. Can these solenoid valves be used continuously for extended periods?

These manual solenoid valves should not be actuated for more than 8 hours. The solenoid components are in a confined space and can overheat if actuated continuously for an extended time. If continuous operation is required, we suggest using a small cooling device, like a computer fan, to keep the solenoid area cool.

3.How long should you wait between two consecutive five-hour uses of our solenoid valve?

It is recommended to allow about 20 minutes of cooling time between two consecutive 5-hour operating sessions. The exact cooling time may vary depending on ambient temperature and operating conditions.

4.Can this be used for Drinking Water?

YES. This motorized ball valve is made of Aluminum Alloy, which is lead - free and suitable for use in drinking water systems.

5.Can it be used outdoors?

While the solenoid valves have an IP65 rating, making them resistant to water spray, it is recommended to enclose the valve in a protective housing if permanently installed outdoors to ensure long-term durability.

Works great

Does what it is supposed to... I needed a 2 position switch to control a dump valve for a ultra high pressure pump.

Do not recommend.

I just got mine today and had it at 40psi and the snap ring broke and shot out all of it's internal parts. Do not recommend.

This worked great for my application

The button isn't really flush as others have said but that was not an issue for me. This worked great for my application. No instructions but it's pretty simple to figure out which port does what. There is an arrow on the switch that shows the proper flow direction.
