U.S. Solid began in 2011, when a group of PhD students in spectroscopy, mechanical engineering and chemistry hit the same wall in their own research: laboratory equipment that cost too much and delivered inconsistent quality. So they designed better instruments — and then built their own manufacturing facility to make them.

Today we supply valves, balances, laboratory instruments and industrial equipment to labs, workshops and production lines across North America and beyond, shipped from our warehouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
