INTRODUCTION
This U.S. Solid 5 way 2 Position Pneumatic Electric Solenoid Valve is a switch for routing air to any pneumatic device, usually an actuator, allowing a relatively small signal to control a large device. It is also the interface between electronic controllers and pneumatic systems. This valve allows pneumatic control of position, flow, pressure and temperature. This is a 5/2 valve which means it has 5 ports; 2 exhaust ports through which air is regulated as it flows out, 2 power ports that power the system, 1 supply port for the inlet of air pressure, and 2 flow positions. This valve is made with an aluminum alloy.

HOW to INSTALL

Valve Attributes
Ingress - Protection Rating:
The valves have an ingress - protection rating of IP65. The first digit 6 indicates complete dust - tightness. The second digit 5 means protection against water jets from any direction. They are suitable for a variety of complex environments, effectively resisting the intrusion of dust and water to ensure reliable operation.

FAQ
1. What is the Waterproof Rating of this valve?
The motor's housing is rated at IP65 for ingress protection. If permanently installed outdoors, it is recommended to place it under a shelter or in a protective box to prevent prolonged exposure to rain.
2. Can these solenoid valves be used continuously for extended periods?
These valves should be energized for less than 8 hours. While most do not exceed 18W of power, the coils are in a contained area and can burn out if energized for too long. We recommend using a computer fan to keep the coil cool if continuous operation is necessary.
3.How long should you wait between two consecutive five-hour uses of our solenoid valve?
It is recommended to allow about 20 minutes of cooling time between two consecutive 5-hour operating sessions. The exact cooling time may vary depending on ambient temperature and operating conditions.
4.Can this be used for Drinking Water?
YES. This motorized ball valve is made of Aluminum Alloy, which is lead - free and suitable for use in drinking water systems.
5.Can it be used outdoors?
While the solenoid valves have an IP65 rating, making them resistant to water spray, it is recommended to enclose the valve in a protective housing if permanently installed outdoors to ensure long-term durability.
