A: Yes, depending on the model's IP rating. While our heavy-duty actuators are weather-resistant, we recommend using a protective cover or shelter for permanent outdoor installations to protect the unit from direct UV exposure and ice buildup.
3. Is this valve suitable for high-viscosity fluids or particulates?
A: Yes, subject to torque considerations. Extremely viscous media or large particulates increase resistance, so ensure the operating torque remains within the actuator's rated capacity to prevent stalling.
4. Is it normal for the actuator to feel hot during operation?
A: Yes. The actuator may feel warm during continuous cycling. If the housing becomes too hot to touch, check that the recommended duty cycle and ambient temperature range of -30°C to 60°C are not exceeded.
5. Can I wire multiple actuators in parallel on the same circuit?
