
INTRODUCTION
The U.S. Solid motorized ball valve is designed for automated control of compatible fluid lines. This 304 stainless steel valve combines a 2-wire auto-return actuator, built-in timer control, fail-safe power-off closing, power-off memory, and a wide 9-24V input range for HVAC, irrigation, water treatment, and industrial automation systems.

The motorized ball valve uses power only while changing position. After the valve reaches the fully open or fully closed position, it remains in that position with minimal power consumption. For auto-return models, charge the internal capacitor before testing the power-off return function.

FAQ
1. What is the IP grade of this valve?
The valve actuator is rated IP67 for dust protection and temporary water immersion. For permanent outdoor installation, place the valve under suitable protection and provide proper drainage.
2. What is the difference between Normally Closed and Normally Open?
A Normally Closed valve remains closed when power is off and opens when energized. A Normally Open valve remains open when power is off and closes when energized.
3. What is the difference between Full Port and Standard Port?
A Full Port valve has an internal passage close to the connected pipe diameter, which helps reduce flow resistance. A Standard Port valve has a smaller internal passage than the nominal pipe size.
4. Can this brass valve be used for drinking water?
No. This brass valve contains lead and is not intended for drinking-water applications.
5. How does the auto-return function work?
When the power supply is disconnected, an Auto Return model returns to its default position after the internal capacitor has been adequately charged. Charge the valve for approximately one minute before testing this function.
6. Can this valve be used for propane?
Use the valve for propane only when the product specifications, seals, pressure rating, and installation conditions are confirmed to be compatible with the application.
WARNING
1. Disconnect the power supply before wiring, servicing, or removing the actuator.
2. Do not manually force the actuator or valve stem. Manual operation may damage the actuator or cause injury.
3. Only Auto Return models return to their default position after a power outage. Other models remain in their current position.
4. Do not exceed the specified working voltage, pressure, temperature, or feedback-signal load capacity.
5. Although the actuator is IP67 rated, protect the valve from prolonged exposure to rain, standing water, and unsuitable installation conditions.
