INTRODUCTION
The U.S. Solid 40 kHz Ultrasonic Cleaner features a professional-grade stainless steel tank and is available with either mechanical knob controls or a digital control panel. Both models provide convenient timer and heater functions, with adjustable heating up to 80°C/184°F; the digital model also includes a degas function. High-performance transducers generate powerful ultrasonic waves that create cavitation bubbles in the cleaning solution. As the bubbles collapse, they release energy that helps remove dirt, grease, and other contaminants from jewelry, tools, and small parts—even in hard-to-reach areas—without the need for scrubbing. How does the ultrasonic cleaner work?
The cleaner uses high-frequency sound waves to create microscopic cavitation bubbles throughout the cleaning solution. When the bubbles collapse, they release energy that helps remove dirt, oil, grease, dust, and other contaminants, including from hard-to-reach areas.
What cleaning solution should be used?
Water-soluble cleaning solutions intended for ultrasonic cleaners are recommended. Strong acids, strong alkalis, and flammable cleaning agents are prohibited. Follow the cleaning solution manufacturer's instructions.
Can the cleaner run without water or with too much water?
No. Never operate the machine with an empty tank because this may damage the transducer. Fully immerse the items without filling the tank above the MAX line.
What temperature and cleaning time should be used?
The temperature range is 20–80 °C and the timer range is 0–30 minutes. A temperature of 40–60 °C is recommended when heating is needed. Select the time and temperature according to the item and contamination.
How should delicate or plated items be cleaned?
Test the solution and settings on a small or less-visible area first, especially for delicate, plated, coated, painted, or polished items. Arrange items loosely so the solution can circulate freely.
What should be done after cleaning?
Turn off and unplug the machine, empty and clean the tank, and make sure it is completely dry before long-term storage. Rinse and dry the cleaned items when necessary.
WARNING
- Confirm that the power supply matches the rated range and connect the grounding wire before operation.
- Do not operate the machine with an empty tank. Do not move the machine while liquid remains in the tank.
- Close the lid during operation. Be careful of hot water and steam when opening the lid to avoid burns.
- Use only water-soluble cleaning solutions approved for ultrasonic cleaners. Strong acids, strong alkalis, and flammable liquids are prohibited.
- Keep the cleaner away from rapid temperature changes, high humidity, strong vibration, corrosive gases, splashing liquids, and explosive or flammable gases.
- Inspect the tank, power cord, plug, and control panel before first use. Do not operate the unit if any component is damaged.
- For delicate, plated, coated, painted, or polished items, test a small or less-visible area before a full cleaning cycle.
