The solenoid valve, in its default state, uses the solenoid's magnetic field to move the plunger and close the orifice, blocking any fluid or gas flow. This changes when the solenoid is energized. It includes a Viton gasket, a modern material lauded for its chemical inertness and common usage with gasoline, kerosene, and other organic solvents. The direct-acting solenoid valve's versatility extends to a variety of industries, including water projects, chemical processing, power generation, and healthcare.
