INTRODUCTION

Designed for high-precision flow regulation and reliable shut-off, this U.S. Solid Globe Valve features a unique S-type internal structure that optimizes fluid dynamics to minimize turbulence and internal wear. This advanced geometry, coupled with a heavy-duty manual rotary handwheel, allows users to achieve exceptionally fine, linear control over water, oil, and gas media, making it an indispensable tool for applications requiring meticulous throttling. Engineered with premium materials for industrial-grade durability, the valve ensures a high-integrity, leak-proof seal even under demanding pressure conditions, providing operators with the precise tactile feedback necessary for micro-adjustments and long-term operational stability in any professional fluid management system.

HOW to OPERATE

FAQ

1.Is there a requirement for the installation direction of a manual globe valve?

Yes. Unlike some standard ball valves, a globe valve is unidirectional. There is an arrow on the valve body indicating the flow direction. It must be installed so that the medium flows in the direction of the arrow (typically "low-in, high-out"—entering from below the valve disc and exiting from above) to ensure proper sealing and to reduce the torque required to open the valve.

2.What are the requirements for the pipeline when installing a manual globe valve?

The pipeline must be thoroughly flushed and cleaned to ensure it is free of debris, scale, or welding slag. Because globe valves have a more complex internal flow path than ball valves, debris is more likely to get trapped in the valve seat, which can damage the sealing surfaces and cause leakage. Ensure the pipes are properly aligned to avoid putting undue stress on the valve body.

3.Can this be used for Drinking Water?

YES. This ball valve is made of 304 Stainless Steel, which is lead - free and suitable for use in drinking water systems.

4.Does a manual globe valve need regular maintenance?

Yes. Regularly check the stem packing (the area around the handle) for any signs of leakage and tighten the packing nut slightly if necessary. The exposed threads of the valve stem should be lubricated periodically to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear. Additionally, cycle the valve (fully open and close it) occasionally if it is rarely used to prevent mineral buildup or "freezing" in one position.
