Automatic Water Level Control Valve Automatic Water Level Control Valve

Introduction

The Automatic Water Level Control Valve is a fully automatic, mechanical valve designed to replace traditional float ball valves. It adjusts water flow automatically based on water level changes, with no electricity required. When the water level drops, the valve opens and begins refilling; when the preset level is reached, the valve shuts off completely. Suitable for tanks, cisterns, agricultural troughs, aquariums, and other clean water storage systems.

Applications

Applications Applications

Features

  • Fully Automatic Water Level Control: Detects water level changes and automatically fills or shuts off — no manual operation needed.
  • Fits 1/2", 3/4" & 1" Pipe Sizes: Multiple thread adapters included for flexible connection to different pipe configurations.
  • Mechanical Design — No Electricity Required: Powered entirely by water pressure, ideal for remote locations or off-grid systems.
  • Durable Nylon Body with 304 Stainless Steel Fasteners: Corrosion-resistant construction suitable for long-term clean water applications.
  • Multiple Inlet Options: Supports both side inlet and top inlet installation for various tank setups.
  • Built-in Filter Screen — Easy Maintenance: Internal filter can be removed and cleaned in minutes without professional tools.

Installation Instructions

Please read all instructions and precautions before installation.

  • Clean the Pipes: Flush the water supply line to remove any sand, stones, or debris. Foreign particles may block the valve and cause malfunction.
  • Verify Installation Orientation: The valve must be installed vertically with the float mechanism hanging straight down. Do not install the valve at an angle.
  • Connect the Inlet Pipe: Side Inlet — Connect the pipe from the side, ensuring the valve body hangs downward. Top Inlet — Connect the pipe from the top, ensuring the valve body hangs downward. If leakage occurs at the threaded connection, apply Teflon Tape to ensure proper sealing.
  • Secure the Valve: Firmly fix the inlet pipe to a level surface, then tighten the valve securely. Do not overtighten.
  • Features Features

  • 1/2" Setup: Side Inlet — Directly connect the 1/2" pipe. Top Inlet — Connect the top inlet elbow, then attach the 1/2" pipe.
  • 3/4" Setup: Side Inlet — Use the 1/2" to 3/4" adapter, then connect the 3/4" pipe. Top Inlet — Connect the top inlet elbow, attach the 1/2" to 3/4" adapter, then connect the 3/4" pipe.
  • 1" Setup: Side Inlet — Use the 1/2" to 1" adapter, then connect the 1" pipe. Top Inlet — Connect the top inlet elbow, attach the 1/2" to 1" adapter, then connect the 1" pipe.

*Note: The valve has a Male Thread, so the connecting pipes must have Female Threads.

FAQ

1: What water pressure is required for this valve to work?

The operating pressure must be between 0.2 – 10 kg/cm² (2.8 – 142 PSI). The valve will not function properly below 0.2 kg/cm². Do not use in low-pressure, gravity-fed systems with a water drop of less than 2 meters (approx. 6.5 ft).

2: Does the valve need to be installed vertically?

Yes. The float mechanism must remain vertical during operation. Do not install the valve at an angle.

3: Can this valve be used for drinking water?

No. This valve is suitable for clean water systems only. Do not use for potable water (drinking water).

4: Can two valves be installed in the same tank?

Yes. If installing two valves in the same tank, position both valves at the same horizontal level. Also ensure all upstream shut-off valves are fully open during operation.

5: Is a small amount of water dripping from the valve normal?

Yes. A small amount of water dripping from the bottom of the valve during filling or shut-off is normal and not a defect.

6: The valve is filling slowly or not shutting off completely — what should I do?

This is usually caused by debris blocking the internal filter. Solution: ① Shut off the water supply ② Remove the inlet section of the valve ③ Clean the internal filter screen with clean water ④ Reassemble and reinstall. Regular cleaning will help maintain optimal performance.

7: What happens if installed outside the specified pressure range?

Improper installation or use outside the specified pressure range may result in malfunction or damage. Always ensure the water pressure is within the rated range before use.
