Introduction
The BT100N is a basic stepper motor-driven peristaltic pump with a speed range of 0.1-150 RPM. Compatible with EasyPump series pump heads, it offers two flow rate ranges: 0.0002-645 mL/min and 0.18-270 mL/min (requiring different silicone tubing sizes). Featuring a timer function and compact design, it comes in a metal powder-coated enclosure with membrane buttons for start/stop, direction change, and timer operation. The pump supports seven external control modes and includes RS232/RS485 communication interfaces (Modbus RTU protocol) for easy integration with computers, and PLCs, enabling remote control. Ideal for university labs, research institutes, and analytical instrument applications.

FAQ
1.What type of peristaltic pump is this? What are its main functions?
As the most basic type of peristaltic pump, it supports core functions including speed adjustment, start/stop control, direction reversal, and full-speed operation. Additionally, the BT-N series offers a simple timing function.
2.Does it have a timing function?
Yes, it has a basic timer. You can set the duration (max 999s), and the pump will stop automatically when the time runs out. The timer remembers the last set value. Note: It can only be set via the buttons (not by external control), and it does not support scheduling by specific date or time. Quick setup steps (refer to the manual for details):
- Press and hold the Timer button for 3–5 seconds.
- Set the desired duration using the + and – buttons.
- After setting the time, press the Timer button again to exit and adjust the speed as needed.
- Press the Timer button once more to start the timed run, after which the pump will stop automatically.
3.Does it support external control?
Yes. Please note that the button and knobs will no longer work after switching to external control mode. In this mode, only start/stop, direction reversal, and speed adjustment can be controlled externally—the timing function is not supported. After pressing the external control button, you can check the indicator lights for start/stop, direction, and speed. If an indicator is on, the corresponding function can be controlled externally. The indicators may light up in different combinations: one on, two on, or all three on. If none of the indicators are lit, the unit is not in external control mode.
4.Which types of tubing are compatible with this peristaltic pump?
Both variants share the same main unit. The pump head differs: one supports 1.6 mm wall thickness tubing (13#, 14#, 19#, 16#, 25#, 17#, 18#), and the other supports 2.4 mm wall thickness tubing (15#, 24#). Please choose the appropriate option when ordering. Common-size tubing information is provided below for reference only and does not imply full compatibility with all listed sizes.
5.When adjusting the speed or setting the duration, do I need to press the +/- buttons many times?
For precise step-by-step adjustment, press the +/- buttons repeatedly. You can also press and hold a button to adjust quickly—hold to get close to the target value, then tap to fine-tune it.
6.What should be noted when installing tubing on the Easypump series pump head?
Please note that there is a rubbing wheel located at each end of the pump head base. Before installing the tubing, adjust the rubbing wheels according to the tubing size to adjust the position of the lower tube clamp, ensuring the pump head fits different tubing sizes.

Adjust the position of the lower tube clamp
- When the lower tube clamp is at the top (displaying white and blue), it fits tubing with a 1.6mm wall thickness: 13#, 14#, 19#, 16#, 25#.
- When the lower tube clamp is at the middle position (displaying white), it fits tubing with a 1.6mm wall thickness: 17#, 18#; and tubing with a 2.4mm wall thickness: 15#, 24#.
- Ensure both rubbing wheels are adjusted to the same position to keep the lower tube clamp even.
7.What are the differences between the BT100N, BT300N, and BT600N in the BT-N series?
There is no significant functional difference; the main distinction lies in their speed ranges. The BT100N supports a range of 0.1–150 rpm, the BT300N supports 0.1–350 rpm, and the BT600N supports 0.1–600 rpm. Correspondingly, they can achieve different flow rate ranges as well.
8.What does the parameter Flow Rate Range mean in peristaltic pumps?
Generally, the pump head supports multiple types of tubing. This range refers to the minimum flow rate of the smallest tubing to the maximum flow rate of the largest tubing. In other words, to achieve the desired flow rate, you need to select the appropriate size of tubing and adjust the proper rotational speed.
