FAQ

1. Can ultrasonic output be started when the probe tip is exposed in the air?
No. Ultrasonic output should never be started when the probe tip is exposed in the air.

2. Does the apparatus need an industrial frequency transformer for the power supply?
No. The apparatus adopts switching power supply without industrial frequency transformer. Do not touch randomly after opening the generator housing to avoid electroshock.

3. In what kind of environment can the apparatus be used?
It should be used in an environment free from moisture, direct sunlight, and corrosive gases.

4. How to ensure correct use of the ultrasonic probe?
The probe should be submerged in liquid and must not touch the walls of the sample vessel.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION

  1. Ensure the DIP switch is at the 12V position before turning on the machine.
  2. Connect the transducer with the power cord and plug in. If the indicator light is on, the machine is OK.
  3. Immerse the tip of the probe into the liquid by 5 to 10 mm.
  4. Press the button on the transducer to turn on the machine.
  5. Adjust the 12-24V/DC switch to control the ultrasonic output.

WARNING

  • The instrument should be used in a dry, clean, and ventilated room.
  • Handle the main machine with care to avoid breaking the probe.
  • If the main machine gets hot, please let it cool down before restarting.
  • The probe must be used in liquid; air operation will cause damage.
  • Do NOT touch the probe during operation to avoid heat-related injuries caused by ultrasonic wave.
  • Power supply can ONLY be used to the hand held ultrasonic homogenizer. Please cut off power supply when finishing the process.
