Introduction

Designed for everyday laboratory research, the U.S.Solid single-channel syringe pump delivers accurate and repeatable infusion and withdrawal for a wide range of laboratory applications. Supporting syringe sizes from 10 μL to 100 mL and flow rates as low as 0.764 nL/min, it provides reliable performance for microfluidics, chemistry, life science, materials research, and pharmaceutical laboratories.

Five operating modes, adjustable infusion and withdrawal parameters, power-loss memory, calibration, built-in syringe libraries, and RS485 communication provide the essential functionality required for routine laboratory fluid handling—without the complexity or cost of high-end programmable systems.

FAQ

1. What operating modes are available?

The pump supports five operating modes: Infusion, Withdrawal, Infuse-then-Withdraw, Withdraw-then-Infuse, and Continuous Cyclic operation. In cyclic modes, infusion and withdrawal can be configured with different flow rates and pause times for greater flexibility in laboratory workflows.

2. What flow rates can this pump achieve?

The available flow rate depends on the syringe diameter and the pump's linear speed. Smaller syringes provide ultra-low flow rates for precision dispensing, while larger syringes allow higher flow rates for bulk liquid transfer.

Supports syringe sizes from 10 μL to 100 mL. Additional syringe sizes are supported through the built-in syringe library or by entering a custom syringe inner diameter.

Syringe Size Reference Flow Rate
5 μL 0.764 nL/min – 7.64 μL/min
100 μL 15.96 nL/min – 159.6 μL/min
1 mL 0.139 μL/min – 1.390 mL/min
10 mL 1.718 μL/min – 17.18 mL/min
60 mL 5.295 μL/min – 52.95 mL/min

3. Can I use syringes that are not listed in the built-in library?

Yes. The pump includes a built-in syringe library and also supports manual entry of custom syringe inner diameters.

4. Can the pump be controlled by a computer?

Yes. The built-in RS485 communication interface allows integration with external computer systems and laboratory automation. During operation, the flow rate can be adjusted, and the target volume can be viewed or modified without restarting the experiment.

5. How does the pump ensure reliable operation?

The pump features built-in calibration for improved dispensing accuracy, automatic Stall protection that stops operation if excessive resistance is detected, and power-off memory that retains operating parameters after a power interruption.

6. Is this pump suitable for microfluidic applications?

Yes. With flow rates as low as 0.764 nL/min and stable low-flow performance, the pump is well suited for microfluidics and other precision liquid handling applications.

7. Is this syringe pump intended for medical or clinical use?

No. This product is designed for laboratory research and scientific applications only. It is not intended for clinical, diagnostic, or patient infusion use.

8. What warranty does this syringe pump include?

We offer a one-year quality warranty. See more about our return policy.
