The U.S. Solid USS-FX10001 is a single-channel, non-contact ultrasonic homogenizer designed for micro-volume sample preparation in molecular biology, microbiology, and biotechnology laboratories. The system couples 32 kHz, 20 W ultrasonic energy into a sealed 1.5–2.0 mL microcentrifuge tube.
Unlike a conventional probe sonicator, the transducer does not enter the sample. This closed-tube design helps reduce probe carryover, cross-contamination, aerosols, and cleaning between runs. It is suitable for small samples with a recommended minimum volume of 0.5 mL.
