The U.S. Solid 1/8" 3 way 2 Position Pneumatic Electric Solenoid Valve is a switch for routing air to any pneumatic device, usually an actuator, allowing a relatively small signal to control a large device. It is also the interface between electronic controllers and pneumatic systems. This valve allows pneumatic control of position, flow, pressure and temperature.
This valve is a 3/2 valve which means the valve has three port connections and two flow positions. One valve seal always remains open and the other closed in the de-energized mode. When the coil is energized, the mode reverses. Either the compressed air flows from port 1 to port 2 through the valve, or 1 is blocked while port 2 is exhausted via port 3. This valve is made with an aluminum alloy and has an aperture of 1/8".

replaced 35a-aaa-dba-1ba MAC solenoid valve for Pacbrake exhaust brake perfectly
I used this to control an inline exhaust brake, and so far it is great. I have the compressor limited to 115 PSI and no leaks of problems. The exhaust port ( through the solenoid stem) is sufficiently large to release the brake in a timely manner. I plugged one side inlet port and it was a breeze to install. It lacks wiring diagrams and there are three screw terminals, but I tested for continuity and the two adjacent terminals are the right ones to use. Read more
Does the job but needs instructions
Port A (input) exhausts throug small holes in the cylinder piston head when the valve is closed. B and C are always connected so you will probably need to block one with a 1/8 inch NPT plug. The valve does work as described and is a functional 3/2 valve but the small exhaust port isn’t obvious and it’s frustrating that the valve doesn’t include any documentation. The internal orifice is about 1/2 mm so don’t expect air volume to be anything close to what you expect from 1/8 inch NPT
