INTRODUCTION

The U.S. Solid JFUVS Series UV-Vis Spectrophotometer is available in standalone and PC-enabled configurations. The standalone version is designed for direct bench operation without a computer, while the PC-enabled version supports computer-based data acquisition, spectral scanning, curve visualization, and data management for laboratories that require a more comprehensive analytical workflow.

Built around a reliable single-beam optical system, an optimized CT optical path, and an enhanced 8-bit control processor, the JFUVS Series delivers dependable UV-Vis measurements for routine laboratory analysis, quality control, scientific research, and educational applications. Its long-life deuterium and tungsten lamps support UV and visible measurements, with automatic light-source switching for streamlined operation.

The instrument performs automatic self-tests at startup, including lamp, detector, filter, wavelength-calibration, and dark-current checks. It also supports photometric measurement, quantitative analysis by standard-curve or coefficient methods, data and spectrum storage, USB export, and optional printing. Up to 50 standard curves can be stored and recalled, helping streamline repeat testing and routine concentration analysis.
