Reliable Affordable balance
I purchased this balance because I needed the range and precision it offers, but my company did not have the funds for a certified balance from another manufacturer. I have tested this balance with multiple calibration weights and its performance met or exceeded the listed specs. It can be difficult to get it to settle on a value for samples with a lot of static, but that's a sample specific issue. As far as I can tell the quality is comparable to balances that cost ten times as much, and most of the price difference is due to certifications.
Great Value
We were considering repurchasing a similar scale and we were quoted $1400 for a refurbished one. So I began to look for alternatives. I found this one and it was less than half the price of the used one we were offered and I have to say this one is even better. Saved our company a lot of money and found a great brand of scales and when we need another one we will repurchase again.
