Introduction
The JF-5000 is a versatile automatic tape dispenser designed for professional use. It handles tape widths from 3-25mm (0.12"-0.98") and lengths from 15-70mm (0.6"-2.76"), accommodating rolls up to 150mm (5.9") in diameter with any core size. Featuring three modes (automatic, semi-automatic, and preset), powered by infrared sensor technology, it offers flexible operation for various applications. The adjustable length and spacing settings adapt to different tape types including high temperature tape, goldfinger tape, scotch tape, acetate cloth, glass cloth, aluminum foil, cellophane tape, masking tape, polyethylene, vinyl tape, teflon tape, mylar tape and etc (excludes non-adhesive and strong adhesive tapes like double-sided/fiber tapes).

Three Dispensing Modes
Movable infrared sensor
This model features a manually-sliding infrared sensor that can be moved left or right by hand. When activated, the machine automatically stops cutting as soon as the front edge of the tape on the turntable reaches the sensor's position. All three operating modes rely on this sliding sensor mechanism.
- Sensor Mode A (Blue Light):Hold Start for blue light. Slide the sensor to position. Press Start - it runs until tape blocks sensor, then auto-restarts when tape is removed.
- Sensor Mode B (Purple Light):Hold Start for purple light. Slide the sensor. Press Start - stops at sensor. Press Start again to continue.
- Preset Mode (Red Light):Hold Start for red light. Press Start - cuts preset quantity and stops.

Problem 1: What types of tape are compatible with this model?
This machine is capable of handling various types of tapes, such as high temperature tape, goldfinger tape, scotch tape, acetate cloth, glass cloth, aluminum foil, cellophane tape, masking tape, polyethylene, vinyl tape, teflon tape, mylar tape and etc (excludes non-adhesive and strong adhesive tapes like double-sided/fiber tapes).
Problem 2: How to set the cut quantity in Preset Mode?
Please refer to the manual for details. Note: Default quantity is 2. To set your desired number (max 15), press the button (desired number minus 2) times.
Problem 3: Can both the tape length and cut-piece spacing be adjusted?
Yes.Adjust both settings using the graduated knob.
Problem 4: Does this model come with a sensor?
Yes.It features a manually adjustable infrared sensor that slides left/right for positioning.
Problem 5:What precautions should I take before use?
Power on to move blade arm, power off to load tape. Avoid touching blades.
Precautions
- Compatible Tape Types: This model is not suitable for non-adhesive tapes or high-tack adhesive tapes.
- Tape Loading Requirement: Always load tape before operation to prevent blade damage. Ensure the power is switched OFF during tape installation. Never touch the cutting area with bare hands when loading tape.
- Blade Safety Warning: The blades are extremely sharp - never touch directly. Always keep the safety cover securely closed during operation. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling or replacing blades.
- Safe Maintenance: Before performing any maintenance, ensure the machine is powered OFF and unplugged. Clean the disk surface regularly with a dry cloth, and use alcohol to remove adhesive residue. When cleaning the blades, always use tools instead of fingers, wipe carefully to prevent accidental contact with the sharp blades.
